The 2024 Honda Ridgeline represents the perfect marriage of a practical pickup and a versatile SUV. The roomy cab, practical bed, airtight cargo area and on-road prowess have made the Ridgeline a staple for those who enjoy cruising through the city, as well as those who enjoy making their way through the woods.

The 2024 edition of the Honda Ridgeline is liable to win over even more fans. Besides a redesigned exterior, the pickup will benefit from a mechanical update and the introduction of a new TrailSport version offering even more capabilities when the time comes to set your course for adventure.

New mechanics for the 2024 Honda Ridgeline

Since the Honda Ridgeline shares a good number of components with the Honda Pilot, it’s only natural that the former would avail of the same mechanical updates as the latter. Under the hood, we can therefore expect to find the reworked 3.5 L V6 engine that now produces 285 horsepower.

We’ve also heard mention of the presence of a 10-speed transmission, which would replace the current 9-speed, in order to offer improved gear ratios.

An off-road 2024 Honda Ridgeline

Like other Honda SUVs, the 2024 Honda Ridgeline will be available in a TrailSport version offering improved off-road capabilities. To accomplish this, the designers increased the vehicle’s ground clearance, installed skid plates under the bed and equipped the wheels with a set of high-performance all-terrain tires.

Like all the other models in the series, this new edition will benefit from an esthetic update. Judging by the spy shots Motor Authority has released, a new grille is under development, while there appear to be a few tweaks to some of the front- and rear-end components, as well.

We also know that there will be some modifications made to the cab. In fact, several experts suspect that we’ll see an enlarged center screen housing the same Google system offered in the new 2023 Honda Accord.

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline will retain its roomy cab, which resembles the interior of a family SUV. It will also retain its 5,000-pound towing capacity and standard all-wheel drive.

We can expect the automaker to reveal the 2024 Honda Ridgeline later this year. In the meantime, you can count on Lallier Honda to reveal all the latest details as soon as they become available.
