The 2025 Honda Accord will debut at dealerships this month, introducing a new SE trim and an array of upgraded standard features. This latest iteration of the popular midsize sedan brings a fresh blend of sporty aesthetics and advanced technology to the Canadian market.
Sporty SE Trim Leads the Charge
The newly introduced SE trim takes centre stage, offering a sportier appearance with distinctive black accents. These include 17-inch alloy wheels, window trim, door mirrors, and a shark fin antenna, all finished in sleek black. Inside, the SE boasts heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a 7-inch colour touchscreen with smartphone integration.
Emile Korkor, Assistant Vice President of Honda Canada, emphasizes the Accord's value proposition: "The Honda Accord will remain pound for pound one of the best mid-sized sedans money can buy, setting the standard with its feature content, enhanced driving experience and reliability."
Enhanced Technology Across the Range
All 2025 Accord models now come equipped with rear air conditioning vents and USB-C ports as standard. The hybrid models, starting with the Sport-L trim, feature wireless smartphone charging and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen. The top-tier Touring trim pushes the technological envelope further with Google built-in apps, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, and 5G Wi-Fi capability.
Hybrid Power and Efficiency
The Sport-L and Touring trims are powered by Honda's advanced two-motor hybrid system, delivering an impressive 204 horsepower. These hybrid models achieve remarkable fuel efficiency, with ratings of up to 5.7 L/100km in city driving and 5.3 L/100km combined. Notably, hybrid-electric models now account for over 75% of Accord sales, aligning with Honda's broader electrification strategy.
Safety at the Forefront
Honda continues its commitment to safety with the standard inclusion of the Honda Sensing suite across all trims. This comprehensive package includes features such as Collision Mitigation Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keeping Assist. The Accord also incorporates advanced airbag systems designed to minimize severe brain trauma in the event of a collision.
